From fishing the lights of Naples bay to exploring the backwaters of the ten thousand islands, there is something for every angler or novice just looking to enjoy all our waters have to offer.
Just north of Naples lie the waters of Sanibel and Captiva Islands and Charlotte Harbor, as well as Pine Island Sound. All are excellent spots for sight casting to tailing redfish on grass flats. Gator trout, snook and tarpon all have residence here as well. The waters south of Naples, Marco Island, the ten thousand islands, and the Everglades National Park round out this gold mine of angling opportunity. The farthest I go south is to lslamorada in the upper keys where the flats teem with tarpon, bonefish, and the elusive Permit..

Greetings Captain Peter,
Lloyd here. Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the pictures you sent. We enjoyed them very much. The wife and I didn't take any as we were busy catching fish. We had a great time catching lots of Snook and Snapper. Fighting those Crevalle Jacks was a highlight. The tale's I tell my buddies about fighting that 120 lb Tarpon, way outlasted the sore arms. Watching the Porpoises, turtles and manatee swim up to the boat was a once in a life time experience. Peter you took great care with the wife and I, understanding that we are novices. We always felt safe, had plenty to drink, and you supplied the very best equipment. I now have a friend in Florida and he knows where the big fish are. Thanks again Peter! We had a wonderful time and are already planning another trip.

Captain Root is an incredible guide/host. My wife, I and 3 kids (ages 12,14,15) had great time and caught lots of fish. His knowledge of fish, birds and local facts made it a very educational experience as well. Definitely the best experience we’ve had on the water as a family.
